Inquiring minds want to know!!
We all have that moment… We find a style we like and it works for us and we don’t want to change it because we are creatures of habit and we don’t like change. But one day we look in the mirror and wonder… Have I fallen behind the times?
It’s a natural thought to have in the current social climate. Trends change faster than a politician changes their mind. But with all this change there are always constants.
A pair of Levi jeans and a white t-shirt has never been, and shall never be, out of fashion. It is timeless. Fashion trends come and go and we all have at least one shirt in the closet we are convinced will come back into fashion. Which of course even if it did probably won’t fit anymore… but I digress. A lot of hair cuts and styles are much the same. We regularly have clients in the chair asking if the classic cut is out of style now for fear it has become that Cross Colour shirt in the closet we refuse to let go of. But we get asked this question when the cut in question is the Classic Cut. Which, we have to admit, carries a certain measure of irony to ask given its name. It’s the Classic Cut!!! We have good news for you. It’s not out of fashion and what’s more, probably never will be. A nice clean fade with length on top, styled up nicely with a classic pomade or texture paste for dimension. What’s not to love!?
There absolutely have been hair trends that have come and gone. David Beckham has an entire closet full of hair trends collecting dust that have not necessarily stood the test of time and guess what kind of cut he is rocking now!!?? We’ll give you three guesses and the first two won’t even count. That’s right, you guessed it, The Classic Cut. So put your minds at ease, grab a tub of that pomade and stick with what works. We’ve got you covered.
