In our quest for saving the planet, we knew “going green” had to include a third-party to hold us accountable. GreenStep Solutions audited us on our green house gas emissions that we create at the salon, as well as in our commute to the salon. They made great recommendations on how to minimize these emissions, including water conservation, energy-saving lights, and biking to work (to name a few). We’ve installed these new systems into place, and for the emissions that are unavoidable (such as the delivery trucks that drop off our goods), we pay offset fees which are used towards old-growth forest growth conservation with TimberWest.
