Dip Dye
You heard us correct, a color trend that was once reserved for you and your BFF screwing around with hair dye at 14 has now made it to the big leagues. Dip dyed hair is exactly as it sounds; it’s the appearance as if your ends have been dipped into a different color from its base. Popular colors we have seen seem to be pastels, dark purples and black, and even hot fluorescent shade. There have already been a few celebrities sporting this look this year, like Gigi Hadid and Gwen Stefani, but we definitely predict you’ll be seeing this trend overflowing on your Pinterest board soon.

Ronze
Move over rose gold because ronze has pulled in front and center. It seems to be an updated color trend made just for redheads. Being that Ronze is a mixture of copper red and bronze brown, it’s beautiful on those with warmer complexions and olive tones. Either way, it’s going to be a frontrunner in 2016.

Babylights
The name might sound like a new version of baby spice, but this color trend is taking the hair industry by storm. Babylights are the perfect way to get a multi-dimensional look in your hair, without damaging too much of it as a full head of highlights would. They also help to boost the look of you color in a more natural way. It’s no wonder it’s caught on; any new method of enhancing hair color is okay with us!

Embracing Natural
We’re not talking the “I’ve spent 5 hours on my beach-bum waves so that they look natural” kind of natural… we’re talking legitimately embracing your hair’s natural texture. Hooray! This means a full year of never having to use heating tools and fighting with majorly split ends. It seems that this trend doesn’t end with a call for mouse, or styling cream. Looks like you can just walk out of the shower and let it air dry now.

Low Pigtails
This trend has a cute and cheeky vibe to it. It’s a way of saying “F@#$ you society, I’m going to wear my hair like a 6-year-old girl if I want.” Wear this adorable style low and pulled toward the back, draping the tails over your shoulders. Fashion brands like Chanel have been sporting this on runways, so you know that the trend is here to stay for a while.

Twist Buns
Say goodbye to the top knot and sock bun, twist buns have climbed their way up the ladder. This style has been floating around for a while, but it’s finally been making appearances more consistently. These are typically worn low, at the nape of your neck and either twisted around itself or twisted in a knot and pinned in place. It’s easy and fast to recreate and will definitely be a go-to for getting the hair out of your face.[/column]

Polished Lobs
The lob (longer bob) returns for another year of hair trends. However, the difference between a polished lob and a regular lob are the finishing touches. It’s more polished, sleek, and sexy, whereas normal lobs are textured and tousled styles. A polished lob has a more international look to is and must be kept well, using products that will provide high shine and control.

Long Textured Layers
Longer hair often gets weighed down and feels drab as movement ceases due to no texture in the hair. For women wanting to maintain their lengthy locks in 2016, try asking for layers that will frame the front of your hair. It’s a perfect look for versatile hairstyles since the long layers won’t fall out like regular layers usually do.

Statement Bangs
As always, each year brings in a new bang trend… Love them or hate them, they’re here to stay. However, this year it looks like bold and blunt bangs are going to be making their way into the hair scene. Keep your bangs close to your brows and don’t be afraid to embrace a natural textured fringe. This year bangs look like they will be much easier to upkeep and style as trendsetters are saying that texture will add a very cool girl element to your bangs.
